This all-weather galvanised and plastic feeder cannot be operated by vermin (they aren't heavy enough to trigger the opening of the feed trough), and it also cannot be operated by smaller wild birds so huge feed savings can be made.
Please note that when described as Vermin-Resistant we refer to rats and mice as vermin, not squirrels, who are not (mostly) considered to be vermin. The design of the treadle is vermin resistant, however plastic elements are not vermin proof so please consider this prior to purchase as a galvanised treadle may be more suitable if you have a significant vermin problem.
